Project Execution

Documenting clearly project objectives and requirements

Sprint 0 and Agile

The Monetical team have invested a considerable amount of time pulling together the wealth of knowledge from Alfresco, the Agile community and the wider I.T. industry on how to successfully adopt Agile on an Alfresco implementation.

This knowledge is published within Monetical for CMS in a variety of formats (e.g. work-packs, guidelines and benchmarks), which allow project owners to measure their readiness or plan for the introduction of such knowledge and their associated actions.

Sprint 0 and Agile adoption readiness covers, but is not limited to these main topics:

- Facilities hosting the project and users

- Information management capabilities

- Team appointed to deliver the solution

- Project methodology & techniques

  Daily Scrums

Monetical for CMS presents to each Sprint member a single consolidated view of the tasks that have been assigned to them.

The progress of tasks, both the effort invested and status, is documented through the same consolidated view.

The Scrum Master has the capability at anytime during the Sprint to generated a burn down chart.

A relationship between individual Sprint tasks and the high-level Sprint objectives is maintained.

Sprint members have immediate access to a wealth of support material, including associated wikis and forums.

The ownership of individual Sprint tasks can easily be reassigned to others via the same consolidated view of Sprint tasks.

  Release Management

An integrated source and revision control repository is provided to all Monetical for CMS projects.

Whether builds are being prepared for testing or production, the Monetical Release Management capability within Monetical for CMS steers Scrum Masters and the rest of the team through the recommended and agreed quality processes.

A comprehensive release record develops through the project providing a highly valuable audit trail.

Integrated change management and defect tracking capabilities ensure quality is maintained through multiple release cycles.

  Sprint Retrospectives

With a comprehensive online Retrospective Session Management tool, Scrum Masters can quickly organise effective sessions at the end of each Sprint

An Integrated Sprint Retrospective meeting administrations tool pulls together all the appropriate information (i.e. risk assessment, change records and sprint performance charts) for the current Sprint.

Integrated guidelines explain to Scrum Masters how to host successful Sprint Retrospectives.

Series of real-time reports summarise project performance trends and the enterprise's overall capability.

Integrated Sprint corrective action workflows ensures negative Retrospective remarks are dealt with and positive Retrospective remarks are shared with the wider community.
